Dark horse
América, stat of Arkansas
I
I'm a horse that got kicked
In the head by a female horse my princess and
Got expelled from the harem by a stallion
I'm ashamed so I only travel by night.
II
But I heard that on the outskirts of town
There is an African tree that has an alcoholic fruit
I'm going there to bottle myself up
But I only travel at night because
And I don't want to be mugged
III
I loved my princess but she changed me
For someone else it fill like I was
Hit in the heart buy a truck,
I think my soul is broken
IV
I had to leave the field and go
Towards the city but only at night...
I followed the path that took me
To the outskirts of town.
V
On the way to the town
I heard someone calling my name
I thought she was my princess
But after all it was only the wind
hitting the trees.
VI
The path was crooked
I was hoping not to find
No coyotes they are dangerous above all
if you they are in a group.
VII
In the middle of the trip
My four legs
Were already tired
But I had to keep on feeding on what I found on the way.
VIII
when i saw the city lights
I spent some time admiring the lights
that are very beautiful
The houses in the streets if they could talk had a lot to tell
IX
I also saw hundreds of people
Walking on the promenade
Each person has a story to tell...
Their...one and private story.
X
I took a deep breath And I started walking down a path And then after walking four miles I entered a terrain, it was enough to jump the
Fence where there were the alcoholic fruits.
XI
The fruits smelled good
And they still taste better
I thought of my princess who abandoned me
I shook my head to get rid of those thoughts and started
eating the fruits.
XII
I felt my head half sleepy
But at the same time
I forgot the thoughts that tormented me
I ate a lot of fruits.
XIII
Meanwhile I saw a stable in the yard
And I decided to enter it to hide
and get some sleep
My head felt heavy and my body numb.
XIV
I fell asleep and woke up in the morning to the voices
Of the people on the road I was scared
'Cause I thought it could be
Uncovered...
XV
The day went by fast
The night filled the space with
Is long dark arms
I decided to walk around the city a bit.
XVI
Sometimes I like to think
while walking
It's in my nature
Thoughts are born almost unintentionally
XVII
the night was very hot
It feels like the world is heating up
But it can't heat up much more
Cause we can't live a good life if the temperature rises too much
XVIII
Humans have to unite
And solve the problem of climate change
they don't like to live
In this world? there is no planet B
XIX
I walked and I walked
I heard gunshots... why do humans
They kill so much in the U.S.A.
Why don't they talk and come to terms instead of killing each other
that's not very smart
XX
we are here in this world
to love each other
And not to kill each other
We need more love in the world and not guns.
XXI
I was getting tired
So I decided to go back to the stable
And ate some more of those alcoholic fruits
I was feeling happy and fulfilled.
XXII
Then I went to the stable to sleep
That night I didn't sleep much.
thinking about my princess
I felt abandoned, rejected, alone.
XXIII
Couldn't get rid of these thoughts
For that reason I decided to eat more fruits
And then I felt like going for a walk
The drinking was doing more harm than good.
XXIV
I walked and I was feeling dizzy
I almost fainted, that's when I started to walk away
from the city to the countryside
It was then that I fell
XXV
And there it was to my surprise
That I heard a car approaching
I couldn't move I was going to get run over
I didn't care since I was without my love
XXVI
the car stopped
Two men got out of the car
And they began to talk among themselves.
I Couldn't get up without help.
XXVII
«what is this?»
«It's a horse.»
«Is he dead?»
«You know what they say a horse on the ground is a dead horse»
XXVIII
I didn't know those people
I had to trust them
But the way they talked
They looked like good people
XXIX
«Is alive»
«Let's help him to get up»
«Do you think he has a name»
«No, but we can call it "dark horse" since we find it in the dark.»
XXX
Little by little I realized that I could walk
For that reason I decided to return to my land
The alcoholic fruit was making me sick
I had to solve my affairs in another way
XXXI
«I was watching the way the horse rocks»
«Looks drunk»
«A drunk horse I have never heard of»
«Unless he ate that alcoholic fruit that guy planted on that farm outside town.»
XXXII
«yes maybe he did»
«Have to called him, the "drunk horse"»
«And not dark horse»
«Yea»
XXXIII
No one likes to be called drunk
Not in a million years
But they couldn't know
That I was suffering inside.
XXIV
I preferred the first name
Dark horse if there were two names that defined
What was I feeling that feeling of rejection
Emptiness and loneliness those names would be...dark horse.
XXV
when I was arriving at the place in the countryside where I lived
I remembered that I should look for a new love
But always hoping that my princess
Tell me somethink - if anything else I'd have to go on my way and not look back... we can never look back.
XXVI
Life is funny
A man's dream
Can very well be another's nightmare
We have to live with it.
XXVII
I Saw the spot where I lost the fight to the stallion
And my legs almost went down
I couldn't bear it
For that reason I decided to leave there and start a family in a new place.
